The Cotton Club comes to Raleigh

Craft Day Part Deux introduced the first ever Cotton Challenge to P as in Peter.

The Goal: To grow our own cotton for use in wedding centerpiece bouquets.

The Challenge: Staci and I each started with a packet of seeds and the same growing equipment. Every Friday we will document the status of our seedlings turn plants. The one who grows the cotton best wins.

The Incentive: Obvious bragging rights come September 24.

I'm also including a few inspiration images of how beautiful the the end potential can be. I love the glamorous and yet simple feel of these cotton arrangements.

That cotton bouquet is just stunning. Unique, historical, so much more meaningful when you've grown it yourself. That is a wonderful idea and a wonderful project. Bravo! I mean it. Bravo!
